Important news are coming with the coming winter season: we will be the Official Supplier for the next Alpine Ski World Championships that will be held in Åre (Sweden) in February 2019.

After the successful collaboration for the 2018/19 Ski World Cup Finals, the organizing committee has confirmed the intention to continue the cooperation with our company.

The equipment supplied for sale and rental are: fixed type A structures, B nets, safety pads for the ski slope and the finish area, Platinum slalom poles, start houses … and much more!

Saturday, May 26th, in Prague we took part to the Meeting for Manufacturers of Additional Protective Devices (APDs) for SPEEDWAY and LONG-TRACK organized by The Track Racing and the Technical Commissions of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).

The goal of the meeting was to update ourself on the current homologation system for Track Racing APDs, in terms of:
• homologation procedures;
• visibility of homologated brands and models;
• possible random testing requirement by FIM;
•implementation of an official FIM identification system to facilitate tracking of the APDs.

We are glad to have been actively involved in the meeting.  It was a good chance to improve our knowledge about different safety barriers in all the motorbike competitions, compared to road racing.  We are also very pleased about the open technical table with other manufacturers.

Although he was already using our materials during training with the Norwegian Federation, Henrik Kristoffersen has choosen to train with our products even for private training.

The agreement was officialized yesterday during the fairtrade PROWINTER in Bolzen when Henrik received his first personal gate (with customized panels and sleeves).

The Norwegian athlete joins the list of private teams sponsored by SPM, including Lara Gut, Roberto Nani, Max Blardone, Tina Maze and Giorgio Rocca.

The World Cup Finals in Sweden have just begun. The best athletes in the world are going to compete in Åre to win the Crystal Globe and the – still unassigned – Specialties cups.

The races, which will end on March 18th, are going to be a general rehearsal before the next Alpine Ski World Championships.

We conclude this winter season of collaboration with FIS and organizing committees in the best way: we are the suppliers for the event (and we wink at the 2019 Championship)!

The organizing committee of Åre has completely relied on our rental service and supply service for the competitions: all the safety materials – air and foam pads for the ski slope and the finish area, B-nets, C-nets – the starting tunnels and the new Platinum slalom poles are SPM.
