Over 60,000 fans showed up at the 20th edition of the most famous slalom race, THE Night Race in Schladming.

The courses were setted up with our slalom poles. Athletes tested very hard our equipment which demonstrated to be very strong.

The drama and excitement of World Cup ski racing is in full swing: thousands of spectators flock to Wengen and get ready for Kitzbühel and Schladming.

The test of our new green marking paint – scheduled for the World Cup races in Lake Louise (CAN) and sent back with the cancellation of the races – it took place during 49aSaslong Classic.

Coach and athletes gave a positive feedback to this improvement that permit the athletes to run the race in better safe conditions.

New marking paints are eco-friendly: differently from food colorants already on the market, our dyes are free from additives and “made by nature”.
Our marking paints are extracted by natural raw materials and do not contain synthetic additives or chemical solvents.

The careful extraction processes of raw materials ensures the complete ecosustainability of our new dyes which differ from the other food colorants already used on the snow and often environmentally harmful.

As confirmed from the Federation, our new green dye was “officially” tested to better point compressions and jumps along the World Cup courses.

The legendary Saslong was marked with:
– blue, for directional markers on the course
– red, for finish line and timing
– green, expecially for compression and jumps

All the most important competitive events of the end of the year have chosen the quality and the reliability of SPM material!

After the supply of race and safety equipment for the World Cup competitions in Val Gardena (December 16 and 17), it is also confirmed the collaboration with the Organising Committees for the Alpine Ski World Cup races in Madonna di Campiglio (December 22) and Santa Caterina Valfurva (December 26 – 29), where will take place three races.

We are proudly announcing a new test that took place last weekend in Solden in collaboration with International Ski Federation: FIS is planning to use our new green colour to better sign the compressions and the jumps along the World Cup courses.

Therefore, the marking paints used during the next race in Lake Louise (CAN) will be:

Last Friday, September 9th, we celebrated the first Vitalini Prize, promoted by Pietro Vitalini, with the aim of identifying and reward people, activities and inventions that have given a strong impetus to the evolution of skiing and winter tourism.

The award for Tourism went to the Gurschler Family (founders of Val Senales Ski Resort) and the one for Journalism went to Massimo di Marco (founder and first director of Sciare Magazine). The Prize for the Industry went to SPM and Berutti Family, for the invention of the flexible Slalom Pole, product that transformed the development of racing technique.
